Research Grants Program
Lucy’s Research Grant Program funds only the best proposals that are likely to resolve in scientific breakthroughs that can be applied to diagnosis or treatment for people with rare cancer. Grants awarded for Lucy’s Foundation has its own criteria that includes duration, funding amount, recipient designations, eligibility requirements and project requirements.

The initial request for proposals will ask researchers to submit a brief description of their proposal for research project along with their professional qualifications along with a budget.

Once a request is received Lucy’s Foundation grant advisors will review all of the applications and select finalists. The finalists are eligible to submit a full grant application describing their proposal in detail. Lucy’s Grant board will then review the full grant application and rank it through a scoring system. The highest ranked proposals are recommended for funding to Lucy’s Foundation Board of Directors who vote on the final grant awards.

Progress Reports
The grantee is required to submit annual and final scientific progress reports that summarize the specific goals of the research project and how they have been addressed over a specified time.
